To be a soccer club that blends the development of player and person. We aim to foster an environment that creates confidence and awareness for our players on and off the field. Our goal is to provide a complete soccer experience that our players and families will cherish for a lifetime.

Capital City Soccer Club was founded in the fall of 2018 with an unmatched desire to improve soccer altogether in Central Texas. It was an absolute must for us to achieve this with a local identity as we felt it is what the city of Austin deserved. A goal was set in 2018 to elevate the game and that will always remain at the heart of our actions and decisions as a club.

Prior to forming Capital City SC, Club DOC Patrick Miller worked as the south Austin Regional Coordinator for Liverpool FCIA.  Patrick began the south Austin branch of the club with just one team and 10 kids and under his guidance the club grew close to 300 players and 25 teams in total across the Academy and Select levels.  The quick and organic growth the club experienced was impressive but even more notable was the levels of play his teams reached at such early stages.

In our first year as a club, we began with a presence based in South Austin. We formed 16 Select teams, half a dozen Junior Academy teams and just over 300 players in total. Year two came with the growth of a north division and a significant increase in our total number of teams, players and staff. Notably, the club hired two key coaches in Kai Gockell as a Technical Director and Tatenda Chieza as a Youth Development Director. Their experience, expertise and efforts really pushed the club forward as we took on an increase in quantity and quality. Our on-field success with high performing teams and a dedication to top quality training put us on the radar of the Austin soccer community.

In only three years as a club, we are proud of what we have been fortunate to accomplish. We have had more boys teams in Frontier/State Classic League than any other club in the Western District. We have had well over 60% of our club graduates go on to play college soccer. In each of our first three years, we have had a Cap City team compete at Dallas Cup. We have seen dozens of our players become trialists at Austin FC and more than 10 get selected into their Academy.

In the spring of 2022, we received acceptance into two National Leagues: The Elite Academy & Elite 64. We are excited to have these national platforms for our players as we have continued to push our club forward each and every year. Our club is still in it's infancy in terms of where we aim to be. We are enjoying our journey and believe we will only continue to make history.
